Summer Water Fun

Well it has been really really hot here and so we decided that we should try out one of the free spray parks around here to cool off. Addy and Carter loved it but I think that it was a little too much for Boston.

Such a sad little face!


After the spray park we went to Walmart and while we were there we got a slip in slid. The whole family enjoyed it, Will and I even got on it. It was really nice to get wet and cool off.

We took one last trip to Shelburne Farms while we were in Vermont. The kids love that place. They could stay there all day and hold the chickens. It is such a great place for those kids to just run and be kids. We will defiantly miss this place when we leave. I love to see those kids so happy with those animals.

We made it to Missouri

June 26, 2011
After 4 days, we made it into the state of Missouri. It was really cool to see the St. Louis arch while we were driving. That night we stayed with some of our friends who use to live in Vermont with us for a year. Matt and Leslie Prall let us stay with them and it was so good to see them and their family. We are so excited to be so close to them.

Columbus, Ohio 2nd Day

After a long day in the car we made it to Columbus Ohio for the night. The next day we took the kids to the Columbus Zoo. They kids were so excited to be out of the car they ran all over. We were able to see lots of animals. It has been a long time since we have been to a zoo and so we were all excited to be there.

The kids were able to touch some star fish and crabs.

The manatees were really cool to see, the kids loved to watch them swim all over and eat lettuce under the water.

We were able to took a snake.

I have never seen 3 turtles on top of each other so I had to take a picture.

Addy really did have a good time, even though it does not look like it.

Boston loves to hug people dressed up in costumes.

They had a petting farm there and there were all these goats that you could pet and comb their hair. Boston took it a little farther and he was kissing them.
