One Crazy Week!

So as most of you know Boston was due on January 23 and they were going to induce me on January 19 and things happened and well it all started at 2 am on Tuesday January 6. I woke up thinking I had really bad heart burn so I took some tums and then it hurt to breathe so I went and woke up Will and then the nausea set in. So there we were on the bathroom floor, I was having contractions and it hurt to breathe and I was nauseous. So Will called the doctors and they had us come in. So Mindi, one of our friends came right over and she hurried so fast that she got pulled over right in front of our house. So Will had to go out and tell the police that she came to watch our kids because I was in labor. Luckily he was nice and let her go. So we got to the hospital and they thought that maybe it was my liver or my gall bladder so they started to do some test and an ultra-sound and gave me some morphine for my pain. Then they came back and said that my liver enzymes were down and my platelets were down and my blood cell count was down so they said I probably had HELLP Syndrome which is kind of like pre-eclampsia. So they watched me for a little while and everything kept dropping so they started to induce me at 4pm and Boston Jay Cobell was born on January 7 at 3:56 am. He has dark brown air and as soon as they put him on my chest he stopped crying and just looked around. Because I had this HELLP Syndrome I had to be on bed rest while they gave me magnesium for 24 hours so that I would not have seizures. The kids came up and saw Boston and me, and in the afternoon they got to give Boston his first bath which they thought was so cool. Then they took me down to the recover room about 6 am on Thursday and I had to share with another lady and her baby. Which if you have had to share before you know you don't get much sleep. Well then my doctor forgot to check up on me and so around 1:30pm I had to call my doctors office and they had to come up and check me out and do Boston's circumcision. Finally at 8:30pm Boston and I were able to go home.
We were so lucky to have Mindi and Troy here to help us out with our kids. I'm not sure what we would have done with out them. Thank you so much you guys.
Addy and Carter love to hold him and be by him. when Boston cries Carter comes over very concerned and says "It's ok Boston, It's ok". Addy is so cute being a little Mommy to him. I can see Carter is getting the middle child syndrome. For the past few days he has been very whinny and anything you say to him, he gets very emotional.
We were also so lucky to have Will's sister Krysti come and stay with us for a week while Will went back to work. She took great care of us. Thank you so much Krysti!
Well, we are so excited to have this new addition to our family. It's crazy that now we are a family of 5. Wow!

Boston is so cute. Will's sister looks just like him only much prettier! No offense Will. We really miss you guys. I am worried about Mason and how middle child syndrome will get to him.....we will see. I am glad everything turned out good. You both sound very blessed to be healthy.
