So Sunday we woke up to go to church and it was 56 degrees in our house and about 20 degrees outside. We had ice on our windows and we couldn't wait to get in the car to turn on our heat. We have not turned on our heater in our home in hopes that we could save some money. So we have been layer our clothes and we all got slippers. Well, after we got home from church we could not get warm and so we turned on our heater. The kids loved the warmth and laid by our heater for quit some time. It's amazing what a few degrees will do.

That is so funny because we have mom and dads heat on so often that I think they will go broke.
PS mom is home and sleeping a lot dad said the surgery went well. love you guys Kim
Funny, we have been doing the same thing. We also had to give in. We have heaters in each room, rather than a central heater and forced air. So I only turned on the ones in our living room/dining room. Our kids like to sit under them to.
