Big Bugs

While we have been here we have notice these loud sounds and these big bugs, well the shell of them. These bugs are called cicadas. Right before we got to Missouri they had what was called the 13 year cicadas come out. I guess every 13 years and then every 7 years these bugs come out in the masses. Houses, trees and the ground were covered with these bugs while they mated and layed their eggs and then died. The shells of the bugs are still around and Carter likes to find them. Pretty crazy!
