MAINE

On Thursday we took off to Maine for our vacation. We stayed in Kennebunk in a little cottage about 10 minutes from the beach. Our first day we woke up early and played all day at Kennebunk beach. The kids had a great time. The water was a little cold, but Will and Addy still got in. The kids loved digging in the sand and finding sea shells. Boston was such a good baby. He took a couple naps in the stroller and never cried. Boston even got in the water and enjoyed sucking on a shell and a rock. We all got a little sun burned. Carter had a crazy sunburn on his face, as you can see in one of the pictures. One night we had lobster for dinner and Carter and Will pretty much ate it all themselves. I did try a couple pieces and I have to say, that it was not bad, but it was not great. Addy didn't want to try it. One day we drove to the Nubble Lighthouse in York, ME which was pretty cool to see. It was such a beautiful view. We stopped at the Long Sands Beach in York and while the tide was out the kids and Will found 5 little crabs. Carter even caught 2. He was pretty funny to watch get them. I put a video down below of him, you will have to check it out. We had a lot of fun together, and we will definately go back again. Maybe next year.

Visitors

This last week Buzz and Katie came and stayed with us. We were outside a lot, we went to the Echo Aquarium, Joseph Smith Memorial, Ben and Jerry's and just hung out. The kids loved having Grandpa tell them Napi Stories before bed time. Grandpa took them to the lake and on a few walks and even found two turtles that were laying their eggs. One day the girls went to the Strawberry Festival while the boys went golfing. Carter had so much fun golfing with Daddy and Grandpa. It was so nice to have visitors, and we enjoyed them so much. Thanks again for coming!

Graduation Day

Today was Addy's preschool graduation day. They sang a couple songs and then gave them little certificates and then had a slide show of the kids. It was really cute to see how Addy has changed in just one year. She had wonderful teachers and she made lots of friends. One friend in particular was named Gavin. For the last couple of months she has talked a lot about Gavin, and how they were pretending they were Boyfriend and Girlfriend. Lots of stuff I am not ready for. He is a cute kid though. The picture I took of her and Gavin they were actually holding hands. OH BOY. I am a little scared that Addy will be in a school next year with older kids. I know she will have a fun time. I have to be brave. She is such a smart girl I know she will have a good time next year.

SHE DID IT!!

Today Will took Addy out and took off her training wheels and helped her learn how to ride her bike ALL BY HER SELF. Before we left Utah she rode with out her training wheels once. This past year she totally could have had them off we just never did it. Well now she can go around the block and that's all she wanted to do today. Way to go Addy! Thank you Will for helping her! Check out the movie of her ridding down below this post.

Birthday Party

A couple weeks ago we had Carter's Birthday party at a park near us. I was raining all day except the time our party when we had our party. We had a pinata and we did the limbo and we had cake in ice cream cones and ice cream. We had a great time with Carter's friends. Carter had a wonderful Birthday. Thank you to all of his friends!
