We Were The Leaf Peepers!

So in Vermont people come from all over to look at the fall foliage, and the people in Vermont call these people "Leaf Peepers". So on Sunday it was my parents last day and we became the Leaf Peepers. We took rout 15 to 100 and took in all the foliage. We saw two covered bridges and we even went to The Trapp Family Lodge, which is on top of this mountain and that has a great view. It was sad to see my parents and my sister leave. It was so good to see them. Addy and Carter would fight over who could sit by Teasha and my Mom in the Car. Thanks for coming Grandpa and Grandma Tew and Teasha, we had a blast. We will MISS YOU!

Autumn Harvest Fest

On Saturday we went to an Autumn Fest, just down the road from us. Addy was so excited because they had wagon rides. From the wagon ride it took them to a pumpkin patch where they got to pick out their own pumpkins. Addy and Carter decorated a Halloween bucket and then we had cider and cider donuts. They also had a bouncy area that Carter did not want to get out of. It's so cool that they have so many Fall Festivals around here. They really live up the fall time before winter hits.
In the afternoon we went down to Lake Champlain and the kids found shells. It was really pretty. We love having Grandpa and Grandma Tew and Teasha here.

First Official Visitors

Late Wednesday night my parents and my youngest sister came into town and were our first official visitors. We were very excited to see them. Addy and Carter woke up at 6:30am and tried to wake them up. The first day we just hung around, the kids played with them outside and had a blast. On Friday we went up to Sharon, Vermont, the birthplace of Joseph Smith and saw the memorial. There was such a calm feeling and it was very beautiful there. The granite monument is 38 1/2 feet tall, one foot for every year of the Prophet's life. It weighs 40 tons and is one of the largest single pieces of flawless granite in the world. It took 33 days to move the granite 5 1/2 miles using oxen and 22 horses. It was amazing!
We then went to Ben and Jerry's and had ice cream. The kids loved it. Then we went to Cabot cheese and had samples, Chaplain chocolate, Pajama gram, and Vermont teddy bear. The kids did very good in the car.

Cute Kids

So I was getting ready for church on Sunday and I went into the kids room and found this. They find some funny things to play with. These are Carter's swim diapers. They always make me laugh.

Applefest

Applefest

On Saturday the kids and I and Mindi went to the Applefest in South Hero. I think everyone and their dog was there. There was little booths of food and crafts up and down this road. Everything smelt so good. The kids got to ride a horse which they thought was cool. The colors of the trees here are so pretty.

Florida

Florida

On Saturday Will and I went to Orlando, Florida for a conference that Will was presenting two posters at. This conference was all about Gastroenterology stuff, and in Medical School Will did two research projects and so he presented his posters and his research material at this conference. The conference took place at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center. Wow, that place was BIG and very nice. NO, we did not stay there. We met up with Will's mom and her husband Duane at the conference and then hung out with them when we were not at the conference. It was fun to be a part of "Will's World" for three days, even though he will say that that is not "His World" yet. It was very different than staying home with two children and understanding what they were saying. I would talk to people and just nod my head like I knew what the heck they were talking about. But it was fun. That was the first time in almost 9 years of marriage that I had gone to one of those. While we were there Duane and Suzy took us out to eat and then on Monday our last day they took us to Sea World. We went to the Shamu show and we were able to sit right up front. We were in the soak zone but didn't get soaked. Thank Heavens. It was so good to see Duane and Suzy. Thank you guys for everything.

Oh, our kids your probably wondering about. We have some wonderful friends that moved from Utah with us, that were so nice to watch our kids for three days. The kids had so much fun. Sometimes when I would call, Addy didn't want to talk because of all the fun they were having. They have a big dog named Maggy, that Addy and Carter liked playing with. I heard that Addy was able to walk Maggy one day and that it was more like Maggy took Addy for a walk. We appreciate Mindi and Troy so much for watching our kids. They were in great hands while we were away. Thank You So So Much you guys!

Some people where wanting a belly shot, so just to let you know there is a belly shot in the slid show.

We had a fun weekend together. I love spending time with Will when ever I can. We were very excited to see the kids again. We love them so much!
