Daddy Daughter Camp Out

Today Will and Addy had our wards Daddy Daughter Camp out at The Pinnacles. Addy was talking about this all week long and was so excited to go with Will. There was lots of people there and they were able to do some hiking and Addy had lots of fun playing with her friends. Will said that she took our lantern and her and all the little girls were going from tent to tent with it and screaming and having fun. Will did not get a lot of sleep.

Family Volley Ball Game

Tonight we went to a Mizzou Girls volley ball game and the kids had a great time. Boston saw the mizzou mascot and had to go say Hi. He ran up to him and gave him a great big hug and then turned around and had this great big smile on his face. He is one that has never been scared of people in big costumes. He is so cute!

Fun times with the Fam

It was a nice day and so we decided to go on one last outing at one of our favorite spots here, Rock Bridge Park. Addy's best friend and next door neighbor, Ella came with us and one of our other friends Roxy come with us too. Roxy works with Will and has become one of our good friends. The kids caught lots of frogs and Will caught a crawfish. The kids could stay there and catch and play in the water all day. Its so nice to have kids that love to be outside. I love this warm weather in October. The colors are not as beautiful as Vermont because it is so dry here, but there are still some really pretty colorful trees here.

Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to a near by pumpkin patch and saw some animals and and Boston and I got to pick out our own pumpkins. There were some goats there and we were able to feed them. Boston had a little paper cup that he was getting the food out of, and he put it a little too close and the goat ate it all. Boston had a great time running around and seeing all the things that were there.

Bike Ride

Every Tuesday for the past few weeks me and some ladies from my ward have been going on some bike rides. This last time we went on a trail that went along side the Missouri River. It was really neat to see. We have been averaging in between 10-12 miles. Boston enjoys watching for animals, this last time we saw a snake and a turtle. Boston is such a trooper, he does really well in the bike trailer, when he gets tired he will fall asleep in there.

Bike Ride with the Kids

Today the kids did not have school and so I loaded up the bikes and the trailer and we went for a bike ride. It was a beautiful day. While we were out the kids found frogs in a stream near by, my kids LOVE frogs! We biked for a while and then stopped and had a snack and then headed home.


While Boston was sleeping Carter, Addy and I made sugar cookies and enjoyed being together.
