Vermont Maple Syrup

Today was the open house for all of the "sugarhouses" in Vermont. This is a celebration of the maple syrup season in Vermont. It was our first time since we have been here. We were able to see trees with the buckets attached to them and see the liquid dripping out. When we pulled up we could see the smoke and steam coming from the fire and smell that sweet smell. We were able to try warm right out of the tap maple syrup, maple cotton candy, maple butter, maple salsa. All were excellent.

Spring IS Coming

Last week there were many days that were very sunny and so we took advantage and went down to the lake. The kids had a good time running around and enjoying the sun. We actually saw the sky.

Montana Here We Come

On February 22, the kids and I started our trip to Montana, by waiting in the Burlington airport for over 3 hours. When we got in to Chicago it was 8:00pm and our flight to Bozeman was going to leave at 8:08pm. Luckily it was the next gate over and they were waiting for us. I was amazed at all the help I received while in the airport and the plane. There was a sweet lady sitting next to me that would hold Boston while I took the kids the the bathroom. The kids all did really well in the plane. When we landed in Bozeman and we saw grandpa and grandma Tew behind the glass, Carter and Addy ran to the window to see them because they were so excited. We had to go down the stairs to get to them, and when Boston met them for the first time, he was a little over whelmed. It took a few days for him to go to them, but by the end of the week he was showing his cute little faces and his cute personality.

The first day we were there we went to my sisters kids salon Cowlicks, and got Carter, Addy and my hair cut. Addy even got blue tinsel in her hair, which was really cool. The grand kids saw each other and started playing right away.

With Kim and her girls we went to the Museum of the Rockies. Carter was amazed at how big the dinosaurs were. There was one that was being attacked and it had scraps on it and he kept talking about the blood and scratches. Addy asked when we could go, because she was getting a little freaked out about the dinosaurs.

Montana

One of the days that my dad had off we went to Party's R Us, which is a blow up jump ping place. We had a lot of fun. There were two rooms full of these things. Boston loved going down the slides, and Addy loved helping him.

Carter loved to sit with Aaron and watch him play games. I think he was missing Will alot.

Addy and Carter loved this little dog. They followed it everywhere. Boston even liked it too. Boston would follow it around the house and call out dog dog.

The snow forts and paths that Roy and the kids made were really cool. While I was there we had Teasha's Baby shower and had lots of food. All the girls were in the kitchen making some really good food. It was fun to see my littlest sister getting so exciting about their soon to be baby girl.

It was so fun to see all of my nieces and nephews, they are all so different and so cute.

This was everyone in the family but Will. We had to tell the kids they could get in the hot tub when we were done taking the pictures. It was really crazy.

All the grand kids.

The sisters!

This is the first time that all of my family, sisters and brother have been together since we moved away. Addy and Carter loved being in the hot tub.

Tiffany and I found these cute little dresses at Target for Addy and Natalie. They loved being twins.
