Thanksgiving

This year we had surprise visitors for Thanksgiving. Jared and Denise live in Champaign, IL and flew into Boston and then drove here. Jared took his little buddy Carter, to Toys R Us and got a soccer ball and net and a football. They had a fun time putting the net together and also playing outside with it. Denise made bracelets and hair barrettes with Addy and I. We went to Ben and Jerrys and had some yummy ice cream, and then we went to Cabot Cheese and ate a lot of yummy cheese. Jared and Denise made us some amazing dinners while they were here. On Thanksgiving Will got off early from work which made the day more special. The food was great and the company was better. We had a great Thanksgiving this year, I have so many things to be thankful for.

Cute Girl

Addy is so cute. She is getting so big. Today she went to Girl Scouts for the first time and had so much fun. She is such a smart girl and helps me out so much. I love her and am so happy to be her mother. I am so proud of you Addy.

Apples

I bought some apples the other day, and left them on the floor by the fridge. Boston had gotten into the bag and started to bite into one of the apples. So I gave him a clean one in his chair and this is what happened.

One Last Outing

A couple of days ago we had a wonderful sunny day and so we took the kids to the park and had a great time. Addy showed us how well she could go across the monkey bars and Carter and her went up the climbing wall. Boston loved the slide and the swing. Will loved the big alligator.

Barrettes

I forgot to put this picture in of the barrettes that we made. The girls and me had a fun time making these and they were pretty easy. The big pink one I made to go with Addy's skirt I made for her.

Addy's 6th Birthday!

On Saturday we had Adyson's Birthday Party with her friends. She had 4 little girl friends come over and they all had a great time. We played pin the tail on the donkey, we did a treasure hunt, they made flower and button barrettes, and then they made their own cupcakes, oh and we painted nails. This was Addy's first girl party and she was having so much fun she was almost bouncing off the walls. After her friends left Will came home with the boys and Addy then opened up the family presents from us and her grandparents. This year I took an old pair of her Levi's that had holes in the knees and made it into a skirt for her. She got a couple more skirts from Grandpa and Grandma Tew, and she got some walkie-talkies from Grandpa and Grandma Webb, and also a set of musical interments that the kids love. She also got some fun candy and a gift card from Grandpa Cobell. I think that she made out well. I can't believe that Addy is 6 years old. Addy is such a wonderful daughter. She is so smart, and so kind to everyone. She helps me so much with her brothers. We love you Addy so much!

Our Halloween Fun

Last Saturday we went to Church Street and the kids went trick or treating to the stores and had a fun time. On Thursday we decorated our pumpkins that we got at the Harvest festival. Boston was not sure about it. We found out when we turned off the lights to take a picture that he didn't like it at all. On Friday at Addy's school they had all the kids wear their costumes and put on a Halloween parade for the Nursing home which is right across the street. Carter held Addy's hand the whole time and it was cute to see all of the costumes. The people at the nursing home loved seeing all the kids and they loved to see Boston. I had to put this picture of this tree in because I think that its an amazing color. Then on Halloween we went to Dunkin Donuts and the kids decorated their donuts with frosting and sprinkles. Carter loved every minute of it. He ate all the donut and all the frosting and all the sprinkles they put in a little cup for him. Then he ate Boston's little donut and I'm sure he could have had more if we let him. Addy on the other hand didn't even touch her donut. She started to not feel very well at dunkins and by the time we got her home she went up stairs and fell asleep on her bed, which for Addy means she is not feeling very well. She never wants to take naps. She had a fever of 102. 5 and was not happy. She stayed in bed and watched movies and slept most of the day. By 5:00pm it started to rain very heavy and so we thought that trick or treating would be out the window. But by 6:00 it stopped and Carter and Will took to the streets. Addy did not go for obvious reasons, but Carter had a great time. Carter was nice enough to put half of his candy in Addy's bucket for her when she gets feeling better. As for Addy we are keeping her in her room by her self and I'm wearing a mask when I go into see her just to be on the safe side. All in all we had a great Halloween!
