Today we had Addy's Birthday Party and we had 6 little girls come over and we painted their nails, had pizza, made flower barrettes, had a pinata and cake and ice cream. It was pretty fun to watch all these littel girls go after all the candy after the pinata broke. All of the kids had a turn to hit the pinata and Boston was the one who broke it. Addy had a great time!

Birthday Girl
November 8, 2011
Addy woke up bright and early and wanted to open her gifts. So I let her and she was so happy. She got some clothes, watch, money, game, and some moccasins. For dinner we had one of her favorite, BLTs. For dessert we had pumpkin pie, her favorite. I can't believe she is 8 years old. Addy has become such a beautiful girl. She is very happy and a good girl. We are having her friend party on Saturday.

Halloween 2011
October 2011
We had a great Halloween this year. The kids loved carving the pumpkins except for Boston. He did not like how slimy the insides were. We went to our church's Halloween party and we all dressed up. Will was DR Pepper, I was a Blessing in Disguise, Addy was a witch, Carter was Batman, and Boston was a Cow. Will had the night off so he stayed home to give out candy and I took the kids around the neighborhood. Boston lasted for about half an hour and then he went home. Carter and Addy couldn't get enough and I had to make them go home at 8pm. They all got a lot of candy and had a great Halloween.

Fall Time
October 26, 2011
For a Sunday activity we made these really scary skeletons from q-tips. We received a package that had lots of goodies from Grandpa Buzzy. The kids got some candy corn and a really cool Happy Halloween sign and some face paint and this little crazy looking guy that Carter is holding and his eyes light up and he makes a scary sound. One afternoon the kids and I tried to sack up some leaves. We got 3 bags done and only a very tinny part of the yard done. When Will came home he took 2 hours and got 5 bags done and the rest of the yard. Will's and my back hurt for a few days. We haven't had to do really any yard work for the last 7 years. I'm sure there will be more leaf pictures still to come.

Graham Cave State Park
October 15, 2011
This weekend was going to be nice and so we decided to go camping as a family. We found this place called Graham Cave State Park which is about 45 min away from us. It was a really cool place. We got there Friday night and had just enough time to put up the tent and make dinner. It was a beautiful night! We were able to see the stars and we told our kids about shooting stars and we also told them about the wish they get to make when they see one. We heard some really fun wishes from the kids. We asked Addy to take a picture of Will and I and the only one we got was a little fuzzy, but we got one. Everyone slept pretty well at night and everyone was up and ready to go at 7am. For breakfast we had pancakes, hot chocolate, eggs and sausage. It tasted really good. Then the kids played on there bikes for awhile and then we put the tent up and went for a hike. The kids did really good on the hike and we saw some really neat things. This was a wonderful time with the family, we will be back next year.
