B-Day with Carter

 June 9, 2012
Today we celebrated Carter's birthday with his friends.  Carter is into baseball and so I thought it would be a good idea and easy to make this glove and baseball with cupcakes.  Carter loved his cake and it was easy clean up.  It was 91 degrees so we did water balloon toss, the slip and slide, pinata and pizza, cake and ice cream.  The boys had a great time, and Carter love it!

Slip and Slide

Today it was really warm outside and so we thought we would try our slip and slide.  I love these pictures that I got of the kids, especially the one of Boston face planting it.  No kids were hurt!

Poles, Lake and Fish

Today we took the kids to a fishing derby in Fayette, Mo which is about half hour away, and each of the kids caught a fish.  They had so much fun!  When they caught their fish they took it and got it measured.  At the end of the derby each kid got a prize which the kids thought was pretty cool.  Boston loved to through rocks in the lake and one time he got to close and fell almost into the lake.  He fell on his head and luckily one of our friends caught his leg before he did a somersault in.  I think we will be doing more fishing as a family.  It was a GREAT day! 

Fun with a New App

Today I got a new app on my phone and it takes really cool pictures.  I got the kids first thing in the morning in their Pj's and their happy smiles. 

 Carter took this one of me while I was trying to rest my eyes.

Father and Son Campout

This is a little late but I wanted to get this in here, the boys and Will went on a Father and son camp out with our ward.  They stayed up late, got really dirty and had a great time.
