Today some of our best friends from Vermont were moving to Colorado and stopped in to stay with us. It was so good to see Annie, Ben, Shiloh, and it was great to meet Zac their little boy. We got to spend a few days with them and catch up with them. We had such a great time in Vermont and most of it had to do with the wonderful friends we met there! Annie is such a wonderful photographer, she took all of our family photos in Vermont and she was kind enough to take one while she was in Missouri with us. I watched Shiloh since she was 3 months old, while we were in Vermont and she still recognized me when they came. The kids were so excited to see Shiloh again too. Hopefully we will be able to see them again soon!
Shiloh still remembered me from watching her in Vermont, I watched her since she was 3 months old, she is such a happy and cute little girl.
Boston and Shiloh they are only like 6 months apart
While they were here, Carter had an end of the season awards dinner at Shakespeares for T-Ball. Addy and Shiloh got some dough to play with while we waited for our pizza. When we got there Boston said he didn't feel very good and then all of the sudden he threw up all over, luckily we were in the corner of the room and no one saw it, that is why we don't have any pictures of Boston there.

Stitches twice in 7 days
June 27, 2012
Today we went to the pool and we had only been there about 20 minutes when I saw Boston crying and bleeding. Boston was jumping into the pool while spinning with a friend and landed on his chin and split it open. I took Boston to the Urgent Care and they got him right in. They had to put 7 stitches in, and the whole time Boston did really good, they didn't have to tie him down. He didn't like the needle going in to numb it but stayed very still. He was so brave! The doctor was so amazed at how well he did. After he was all done the doctor asked if he wanted a Popsicle and he got very excited. The doctor told us to come back in 5 days and so on the 5th day we came in and got his stitches out and thought this was good and that he was all healed. But, later that night Will was playing with the kids and Boston fell on the ground and came running in and he had split it open again. So again Boston and I went in to the urgent care for the second time that day, when we came in the doctor saw us and took us right back. Once again Boston did really good with the stitches, this time they put in 5 stitches so that the scar would not be so big. And then he asked the doctor if he could have 2 Popsicles this time, green and orange. So, 5 days later we went back and had the stitches taken out again and we haven't been back since!
This is the second time we came in, he looks so happy!

Pool Time
June 25, 2012
This summer we got a pass to a pool that is right down the street from us and we have loved every minute that we've been there. I put all three kids in swimming lessons there and they all can swim so much better. The first day of lessons their teachers took them off the diving board and I was so glad they did, because they probably would have never done it themselves. The third time Carter went off he accidentally did a flip. Addy was a little bit more cautious, and Boston was the first kid to jump right off in the lessons. One time he jumped right on top of the teacher and made her go right under and made two other life guards jump in after her. They always had to watch out for him because he loved to run up to the board and jump off before anyone was in the water to catch him. When ever we go to the pool now, both Addy and Carter jump off the board for most of the time we are there. It has been so nice to be able to go to the pool and these really HOT days and be able to cool off. Boston loves to swim under the water, but he does not come up for air so I have to really watch him in the deep in.
They have a volleyball sand area and Boston loves to play down in there to warm up!
Boston loves going down the slide all by himself!
This is Carter doing a sweet can-opener off the board!
Boston with his good friend and next door neighbor Wes.
There was a family night and they had a bunch of fun things other than swimming to do. They got to go in foam and look for necklaces.
Carter getting a snake painted on his back.
Boston saw Santa and ran up to give him a hug. This family fun night was Christmas in July. He got to tell Santa what he wanted for Christmas.

Fun day at the Pro shop
June 21, 2012
Me and the kids went to Bass Pro Shop and they got to color a wooden snake, go fishing, shoot a BB gun and shoot a bow and arrow. The kids loved it! It was fun to watch the kids shoot the gun, but now I'm hoping they wont ask for one for Christmas or I'll have to tell them NO, because they will shoot their eye out.
Addy looks like a Pro!
Watch out Boston has a gun!
