Carter's Ball Time

April-June 2012
This was Carter's first year of T-ball and he was so excited to be on a team.  He had never played on a Tee we had always pitched the ball to him so I think that was a change.  He made lots of great friends and he wonderful coaches.  Throughout the season Carter was able to be in every position, but his favorite one was pitcher.  There were quite a few times where Carter caught the ball and surprised him and everyone else.  Everyone was amazed at how well he could throw the ball and he even hit the ball so far that he made it to second base.  It was so fun to watch him get into the game. His Team was the White Sox, I decided to be the Team parent which meant I emailed everyone when games were or fundraisers or anything the Coach wanted to tell everyone.  It was fun!

In July the team got together at Shakespeares Pizza and had an awards dinner.  He was so excited to get a trophy.

Kids, water and woods

 July 13, 2012
Today we went to Devils Ice Box with Sam, Lillie, Harlan, Sophie and Suzy Rayburn.  It was a lot of fun to go on a hike and play in the water and be with friends.  The kids found frogs and we saw lots of animal foot prints. After a little hike we ate lunch and then hiked some more.  It was a very warm day and as soon as we ran out of water we had to leave, but we will be back!

 Boston took the upper two pictures, the first one he got our legs and then got all of us.  He did a great job. 

I love these cute kids!  I'm so happy and proud to be their mother!

Bikes and spray park

Today we with Lyndsee, Henry, Abby and Eli Godfrey we went on a bike ride to Flat branch spray park.  It was a warm day so it was great to be able to get in the water.  The kids did really well ridding the whole way.  We ate lunch while we were there too!  Addy put her hair in one of the water fountains and got her hair all knotted up but she had fun.  Boston loved to punch the fountain water and Carter liked to turn on and off the fountain.   It was a great time with friends!

Parley P Pratt Run

 July 4, 2012
Our ward put on a Parley P Pratt run for the community today and so Will ran in the 4 mile run and me and the kids did the 1 mile run.  We all had a great time.  Addy and Carter ran as fast as they could and Carter won in his age group.  He got a watermelon for wining. 

 Carter accidentally dropped his melon and it cracked but we still ate it and it was great!

Friends and Fireworks

July 4, 2012
For the 4th of July we invited some of our friends over, the Godfrey family and Roxy for dinner and to light off fire works.  We had so much fun!  It was pretty warm out so we ate inside, and since it was so dry this year we didn't light any flying fire works but we still had a great show.  

Eli and Abby didn't like the laud sounds so much.

The Godfrey's made a pinata and so the kids took turns hitting it. 

When it started to get dark we drove up to the hospital parking lot and watched the down town fire works.
