Addy's House

Addy has always loved Lego's and the last few days she has been playing with them everyday building different things.  Today she built a house that has a TV room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.  Addy is very creative too and hates it when her brothers destroy all the hard work that she does building things.  I think that Addy's favorite thing in school is art class.  Its so fun to see how creative our kids are. 

Can you find Carter?

During the school year the 1st grade classes all practices patriotic songs and poems and they all got together and sang these wonderful songs and waved flags and recited poems!  It was great to see all the kids up there.  I tried to get as close as I could to get a picture of Carter and this was the best I could do.  Carter is in the middle of the picture behind the boy that has on a white shirt.  I am so proud of Carter he is such a wonderful boy and so smart!

Animals

Today at the university the veterinarian school was having an open house and so we got to see all these animals. 

 Boston loved milking the cow but the cow didn't like him so much.  Every time Boston grabbed on the cow would try and kick. 

 Daddy milked the cow too!

The Easter Day

Well we finally had our Easter, the kids all found their baskets of goodies and they got all dressed up in their Easter Church wear and went to church.

Eggs

Well it was about time we colored Easter eggs, and so we got everything ready and the kids went to town!  They made some great colors.

Picture Day

Today was my ultrasound and we went and got the kids from school so they could all be there for it.  When we got their the ultrasound tech was actually one of Will's patients which was kind of cool.  The kids kept asking her if it was a boy or a girl and we told her at the beginning that we didn't want to know so she would not go down to that part of the baby.  The baby moved all around and the kids loved see that.  We got to see the baby in 3D which made it look more like a baby and more real.  This was the first ultrasound I had for this pregnancy so it was so exciting to see there really was something in my tummy!  We are so excited to meet this baby and have it be a part of our family!  August 16 is going to be a great day!

Our Backwards Easter

Since we were traveling home on Easter we kind of did thing different.  We enjoyed a family dinner with Duane and Suzy and Will's grandparents the night before we left Minnesota, it was a wonderful ham dinner and it was so nice to spend it with family. 

 While we were gone it was not nice weather so our cul-de-sac didn't do our Easter egg hunt until today.  The kids love doing this and the neighbors love it too!  The kids are so fast and the hunt does not last very long.

Lunch with Dolls

Today we went back to the Mall of America and played a little more and really went back to go eat at the American Girl restaurant. 

The kids love these fun games and at the end they got to choose some candy with all thier tickets

Addy got to bring her doll that had on the same shirt as Addy had. 

Carter and Boston got to use some of the boy dolls the store had there. 

Boston really wanted to go back and ride the rides!

We had a wonderful time at lunch and the food was great too!

After the mall we went back to Grandpa and Grandma's house and hung out.

 While we were in Minnesota we had a Easter dinner with the  family and enjoyed some quite time with them.
