Temple Weekend

 April 21, 2012
This weekend we went to Kansas City to the Temple open house and swimming.  Friday night we got to the hotel about 8pm, we then had to figure out how to put the kids in bed.  We were so use to putting Boston in a crib and now that he is too big for one it was a challenge to get all of them in bed.  We did call down to get a roll away but it was $20 extra so we declined.  Then a few minutes later a manager called up and asked us how our stay was and we told them about the bed issue and then he said he would send up a bed with NO charge.  It was great.  From now on we will remember to bring a blow up mattress.  Saturday morning we got up early and went to the Temple.  It was a beautiful day to see the temple.  The kids did pretty good inside and they all thought it was really pretty and cool inside. 
After the Temple we went back to the hotel and played in the water park for 4 hours.  On the drive home it was really quiet, all three were asleep.  It was nice to get away for the weekend and spend time as a family!     

Boston's Alone Time

Boston has a routine that he does every time he goes to the bathroom.  First he does the potty dance, then takes off ALL of his clothes, and then they have to be in a little pile outside of the bathroom.  Then he has to get his pinball game that he got for his birthday and he is ready for the bathroom.  Boston likes his privacy so he will tell you to shut the door.  I had to document this for the future so I opened the door and took these pictures.  He cracks me up! 

Boys and Water

Today Boston had his friend Derek over, and since it was such a nice day out we took a walk down to a lake that is near by.  The boys loved throwing things in and getting dirty.  On our way back the boys found another puddle and started to run through it and get completly wet.  As they were running they found a dead frog in the water so I took the boys home and put them in the bath and cleaned them and their clothes really really good!  The boys had a wonderful time getting dirty and having fun!

A New Trick

This is Carter's new trick.  He is now big enough to literally climb the walls!  I just hope he wont go to much higher.  Carter is full of energy and is always doing something exciting!

Try it Once

Tonight I picked up some sushi for dinner and Carter ate almost 1 full container full of sushi.  This kid will try anything at least once, and he loves sea food.  He is his father's son. 

The Best!

Today I got all the kids dressed in their best, and then told them that I wanted to get a few pictures of them since it was Easter. This should have only taken about 5 minutes, but for us it took about 20 minutes. One kid would be making a face or messing around, but in the end I think that I got some great pictures. Addy got this really cute dress from Grandpa and Grandma Webb, she looks so beautiful in it. I love when my boys have their white shirt and ties on and hair done, which is not very often, but today they all put on a pretty face and made mommy happy. Happy Easter!

The Hunt

Today I got a few of the other parents from our cul-de-sac together and we put Easter eggs out in the front yards and then had the kids go from house to house and find them. It was fun to watch all the kids run from house to house and have fun!

I'm not sure if he has to go to the bathroom, but he seems happy!

The Prep Work for Easter

Tonight we colored our Easter eggs and had a great time as a family. Boston thought this was really cool, he would take an egg and drop it into the color and then say, I'm done and again drop it back into the egg container. There were lots of eggs that we didn't have to crack very much. Carter would take his time with every egg he did, and Addy would also take a lot of time with hers and try and make it pretty. Tonight our home smelt GREAT!
