All I want for Christmas is my one front tooth!

On Tuesday it was so nice outside so we decided to go to the park with our friends. We were having fun and then Carter climb up the jungle gym bars and slipped and fell right on his two front teeth. Well as you can see, one is really bad and the other one not so much. So on Wednesday we took him to the dentist because he couldn't really eat or drink anything. The dentist told us to go to the Oral Surgeon, and today I took him in to get one of the teeth taken out. After 12 last night he couldn't have anything to eat or drink until after his appointment. This made Carter really mad because he loves to eat. I had a lot of fun trying to get him dressed and in the car without food. When we got there they had me lay in the chair with Carter on top of me. They put a mask on him with strawberry gas, which he didn't fight, until he was just about out and then I had to hold him down while tried to get away. He then arched his back and head and then he went limp. That was kind of weird. Then they took him off of me and 7 minutes later they brought me back in and he was waking up feeling really weird and had a puffy lip. I feel so bad that he will probably have this hole in his mouth for the next 4 to 5 years. After he came to, they gave him a thing of apple juice and he drank it really fast. The two things he was happy about was they gave him a certificate for a free thing of ice cream and then they told him the tooth fairy would come tonight. I guess I better tell her to get ready. I am glad that everything went well and that he can eat without any problems now.

Carter and my father-in-law are twins! He can start a new style--the next thing you know all the kids will be doing it! Hang in there!

Oh Kaylene,
There is always something isn't there?

I hope that things go smoothly with his recovery!

I think the missing tooth gives him street credibility. Now the other homies in Vermont will know not to mess with him! LOL
