A much needed mini vacation

Finally Will had a weekend off and so we took advantage of it and we left Vermont. Saturday we took a ferry across the lake to New York and drove to Lake George, New York. We stayed at the Great Escape Lodge and we went to the indoor water park. The Last time we went all the kids loved the water. This time Boston freaked out when we went in and Carter got too cold and sat with his towel. Addy loved it. The second day Boston started to enjoy it and Carter went on a few slides and then wanted his towel. Boston's hair went all curling, I love it. It was so nice to be with Will and the kids loved being with him too. Will has been so busy and needed a brake. It was fun to see him let loose and have fun with us. There was lots of smiles and lots of laughs this weekend and it was nice.

Mmmmmm Cookies

Today I made some oatmeal chocolate chip cookies,(which are the best I have ever had) and I gave Boston one and he ate it up really fast. Then he was pointing to the cookies and talking like he wanted another one, so I gave him another one and he enjoyed it. I have a Cookie Monster on my hands.

Birthday Boy

Today was Boston's First birthday, and this year has gone by so fast. I was just thinking back to when I woke up Will in the middle of the night with a strange pain, and then called Mindi to come over and watch the kids while we went to the hospital. She came speeding over to our house and got pulled over by a cop, luckily he was a nice cop. Then I was induced 2 1/2 weeks early to help me get better. All this craziness, and then this quiet, cute, handsome little boy was born. I have loved every minute with him. He has definately been the calm child in our family, you could say he has been our peace maker. He is always so happy. He loves to watch and play with his brother and sister. I love this guy so much. Happy Birthday Boston!

Boston is WALKING!!!!!

Check out he movie below this post. Boston is walking ALL over. He is getting into everything, and loves to try and keep up with with his brother and sister. I had to get another gate to keep him from going up the stairs and in the kitchen. For Christmas we got him a little cart that he walks behind and he loves pushing it all over. Since we got it, he just took off with walking. I can't believe he is walking!

HOLY SNOW

For the last few days it snowed and it snowed and it snowed. We got 32 inches in 24 hours and it was the most we have had in 24 hours in the last 100 years. Crazy! We made our way to church in the middle of it. When we got to church there was probably 20 people. Then the Bishop said that we would only have two hours and then travel safely home. The kids loved all of the snow. Two weeks ago I got new tires put on the van, and I am so glad I did it when I did. The van did great in the snow.
