Another Snow Day

 December 31, 2012
We got more snow and even though it wasn't a lot the kids and I took our sled to a park and went sledding!  There was just enough snow for the sled to go down. 

 After we went sledding we came back home and made snowmen

The kids woke up and were so excited for Christmas!  When they came down the stairs and saw the tree and the gifts they tried to start taring into them, until we told them about the stockings. 

Carter got a Mizzou baseball necklace in his stocking.  He was very exciting, he kept saying that all the other boys at school had them. 

Carter got a Nintendo 3ds from Santa and was very HAPPY!

Addy got the American Girl doll, Caroline from Santa, exactly what she wanted

Boston asked for Super Mario Galaxy 2 and then changed his mind and wanted the Super Mario Brothers that 4 people could play but he calls it "Super Mario Galaxy 2 for 4 people".  He was very excited!

 Addy got lots of lotions and body wash, she was so happy!

 As you can see Will was very excited about his movie!

 Carter got this connect thing that you can make cars and other things out of. 

 I got a cool pig timer.  There is not a lot of pictures on Christmas because I was not feeling very good from the pregnancy.

 Will got some nice driving gloves and a fuzzy robe

 I got this Yonanas machine to make some yummy fruit ice cream

Good food, New pj's and family

Tonight we enjoyed a wonderful dinner together and Buddy the elf brought all of us new pj's to wear for Christmas. 
For a while Addy has been asking us if Santa is real and a few nights ago while we were putting the kids to bed she asked us again and then said she saw the presents that we hid in our room that said from Santa.  So we told Addy about Santa and parents and that she could not tell her brothers about this and that she also gets to help us and Santa.  She was very excited about this and she just laughed!

Tonight while we were all in our pj's and slippers we went out and looked at all the lights around town.  When the kids saw this tree they wanted to get out and see the tree even in all their sleep gear.  We even saw a house that had the lights go to a bunch of songs.  The kids are very excited to be able to put lights on our own house in the near future. 

I'm not one of those moms who gets their kids in their best clothes to go see Santa, mostly cause I just don't think about it and also if I tried my kids would fight me all the way.  The boys were very excited to see him and Addy was a little hesitant, she thinks she is getting to old to do that.  Finally we got all the kids up there and this is the picture we got.  What a bunch of cute kids!

Another owie for Boston.  While Boston was in the car with me he was messing around in the front and hit his face on the door and this is what he ended up with, poor guy!

This was the first snow that we have gotten this winter and it was a few days before Christmas so the kids were very happy that its starting to look like Christmas!

 Today the kids had their school Christmas parties and so Boston and I went and enjoyed in the festivities. The kids have great classes and wonderful teachers. The kids were very excited that today was the last day of school and very very excited about Christmas break!
